Join a League/Team
Joining a Hoops Basketball or Volleyball League is simple.
Parents considering leagues for children/ youth:
1. Determine which league is best for you or your child
Introduction to sport: Recreational or Instructional League, Beginner
Competitive: knows the game, can play the game and handle real game situations, increased pressure from game, coach, parents, fans
Adult: 18 and over; post high school.
2. Consider level of commitment involved, practice schedule, associated costs as it relates to your situation, your child's activities load, homework load and school performance. Make sure the program complements not stresses you or your child and your life.
3. Speak with a Hoops associate about any questions regarding leagues, placement, program, etc. Come inside Hoops and we'll help guide you; call us or email.
4. Register in person, on-line, mail, or fax registration form. Hard copies are available at Hoops or printable from the computer. Guarantee your spot by registering in advance. Avoid late fees, have all forms and fees turned in prior to deadline.
5. Post the practice dates and game dates on a calendar you and your family can see so everyone knows when it's game day, when to have uniform , shoes or other equipment cleaned and ready to go.
6. Come enjoy yourself at Hoops, where the game is.
Adults
1. What night works best for you? Determine the night, then see our league schedule to confirm league availability.
2. Form a Team: Gather your friends and get a commitment from them to be available to play each week. Add a sub to your roster to fill-in for life's unexpectancies.
3. Free Agent: Register as a 'free agent' and we'll assign you to a team or you can play with teams who may need an extra person and see if they make an offer to join the team.
