The Healing Place Patriot Game 2008 at Hoops

Hoops is proud to host The Healing Place Patriot Game VI 2008, "Making Louisville Great."  Sponsored by LG&E, The Healing Place Patriot Game 2008 is set for Saturday, September 13, 2008.

Game Day:  Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Hoops; Tip off 3:30pm; doors open 11am for Pre-Game Festivities and Fan Fare!

 In 2003, The Healing Place started The Patriot Game as a memorial to September 11, 2001. Today the event has grown to become an up-beat, high energy celebration of all who make Louisville great.  Every year the game honors the Police, the Fire, The Healing Place, and area youth who are working to make their community better.

• Louisville's largest shelter recovery program, sleeping over 400 men, women, and children each night
• Louisville's most effective recovery center, with over 2,200 alumni and an extra ordinary 65% recovery rate for alumni one year after thier sobriety date
• Louisville's only Sobering-Up Center for intoxicated homeless people.
• A unique parenting and child development program that is positively impacting over 12o at risk children.
• Where alumni serve as role models, instructors and mentors for others in the program

• A free Health Sesrvices Clinic, providing thousands of patient visits and prescriptions every year.
• A comprehensive continuing care program, including job placement, assistance with legal issues, housing, education, medical issues, and family reunification.
